Rango is the founder of Mitos Robotics, where he works on modular approaches to robot control as an alternative to monolithic vision-language-action models. His current research focuses on how planning, policy libraries, world models, and learned skills can be composed into a single control stack, with ongoing work in MuJoCo-based simulation and VLM-driven task planning. He holds a PhD from the University of Oxford and has previously founded two companies.
